Job Description:
We are seeking experienced IT Specialists to join our team in support of the Marine Corps Installations Pacific Facility-Related Control Systems (FRCS) Cyber Services program. These positions play a critical role in securing and maintaining the operational technology that supports Marine Corps bases across Japan, Korea, and Hawaii. You will work on-site at U.S. military installations, delivering enterprise-level systems, network, and cybersecurity administration in accordance with DoD and USMC standards.
Role and Responsibilities:
- For all roles:
- Statements of Federal Financial Accounting Concepts (SFFAC)
- Statements of Federal Financial Accounting Standards (SFFAS)
- Administer and secure FRCS systems and networks in accordance with RMF and DISA STIGs.
- Perform patch management, vulnerability scanning, and compliance reporting.
- Maintain RMF artifacts including System Security Plans, network diagrams, and POA&Ms.
- Support troubleshooting, incident response, and system recovery efforts.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Collaborate with Government leads to ensure cybersecurity posture meets ATO requirements.
- Systems Administrator focus (Camp Butler & Iwakuni):
- Manage system performance, backups, and capacity planning.
- Configure, maintain, and secure operating systems and applications.
- Provide account and identity management services.
- Conduct inventory management of servers, endpoints, and software.
- Network/Firewall Engineer focus (Camp Butler):
- Configure and maintain network routing, switching, DNS, and port security.
- Perform firewall programming, maintenance, and log analysis.
- Support network troubleshooting, performance monitoring, and change management.
- Implement security hardening for network devices and support RMF compliance.
Experience:
- Senior: 8+ years of relevant IT administration or engineering experience, with at least 3 years supporting DoD systems or similar secure environments.
- Journeyman: 3–5 years of relevant IT administration experience.
- Proficiency in Windows/Linux system administration, network protocols, firewall management, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Experience with RMF, DISA STIGs, SCAP, and DoD compliance tools preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree
Licenses/Certifications:
- DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II or higher (e.g., Security+, CySA+, CASP+).
